GOLD COAST MUSTER

An attraction for the people of the Gold Coast to be up close and personal with a huge range of animals. Horses, Cattle, Sheep, Sheep Dogs, Goats, American Bison, Reptiles, Australian Natives, Bilbys, Camels endangered species and more. Inside the MUSTER ARENA there will be 3 days of scheduled demonstrations, talks, presentations and shows. From reptile talks, animals in films demonstrations, sheep shearing and sheep dog trials.  Warwick Rodeo School students showing off their developing cowboy and cowgirl skills as well as a full rodeo each day.  The program will start each day at 9.00am and finish around 5.15pm when the sun goes down.  To launch the muster there will be a MUSTER RIDE through the streets of the Gold Coast from Coombabah to Parklands Show grounds - 50 horses and riders will take part.

GOLD COAST SHOW TALENT SEARCH

Are you over 8 years old - Can you sing, dance or entertain?  Join the '2008 Gold Coast Show Talent Search' for your chance to win $1,000 cash in prize money as well as trophies and other prizes. Auditions at Australia Fair Shopping Centre, Southport - Sunday 20th July - Showcase on the beach, Coolangatta - Saturday 26th July and Westfield Helensvale - Family Fun Day - Sunday 27th July.  Successful contestants will compete in four different heats at the Gold Coast Show on Friday 29th and Saturday 30th and on Sunday 31st August there will be a Judges Wild Card and the Grand Final will be held on the George Martin Stage at the Show.  One lucky contestant from each category will be named the best talent from this fantastic event.
